Combined with Sengun's passing, that's going to be a fun team to watch this year.
Nice to see them finally playing some winning basketball instead of just trying to get theirs all game.

They won't make the play-in, but I can see them pulling off 30 wins this seasonNice to see them finally playing some winning basketball instead of just trying to get theirs all game.
Suns might really be the Utah Jazz of this season
Ayton doesn’t want to be there, Crowder already took his ball and went home, bench is horrible, Sarver drama, and then CP3 boxing with father time
A couple years ago I mentioned their teams had a similar makeup: Aging pg, star’ish sg, defensive big with inconsistent offense.
As much shyt as Donovan gets, he provides similar stats on similar efficiency as Booker… but Mitch is actually better in the playoffs (flaws and all), and does so without his aging pg available to bail him out.
As overly talented offensively as Ayton is over Gobert, it doesn’t matter if PHX is gonna use him like he’s Gobert.
Granted, Phx had better defensive wings whereas Utah had wings more willing to embrace the 3ball.
But ultimately it was gonna be tough for either to win vs healthy elite teams with actual superstars (MIL, LAC, ‘21 LAL, etc).
Now facing a similar reality that they weren’t as elite as they believed they were prior to a similar traumatic playoff collapse + locker room turmoil… we’ll see
Was thinking too, Crowder wants out and wants to start, Phoenix needs bench scoring
Possible 3 team deal:
Phoenix gets Clarkson
Miami gets Crowder and filler
Utah gets Duncan Robinson and draft compensation
Who says no?![]()
Miami the way he left
Utah as neither Phoenix nor Miami have the young talent/picks to give to warrant a team taking on Robinson and his contract. Was thinking too, Crowder wants out and wants to start, Phoenix needs bench scoring
