Brogdon can’t handle the increased workload and body would start breaking down like previous years.
It’s not so much Brogdon’s minutes it’s the 3 man rotation as a whole with white. Regular season smart was their 5th leading scorer behind both of them, and 4th in FGA’s slightly just more than white, and less than Brogdon.

Now, smart is their 3rd guy. In minutes and FGA’s. But for the playoffs he’s shooing 33% from 3 while both Brogdon and white are at 40%. He is a prime example of getting minutes and shots based off name and rep. He takin all these shots like they don’t have damn near identical player types who are superior shooters. They’re gonna lose due to loyalty to Smart.

Smart averaged more FGA per game in last year’s playoffs than this year so yes Ime would
White was relatively new and Brogdon wasn’t there

But I am having deja vu of ‘why tf is this ngga getting so many shots’

But they had an excuse last year. Not now.

And to my point about it being tied to rep, they used to have this same issue with the Morris twin as well. Those types of players are the worst. Dudes —-players and coaches—-be scared to tell them know their role

I’ve been complaining about Smart’s green light to shoot since 2014. It’s a lost cause :francis:

I see no lies. You can’t name a guard from either the Pg or Sg position that’s been better than Dame this year. This is why staying on a trash team and organization can fukk you as an elite player..because u get penalized for being associated with trash. On top of that he doesn’t get much national exposure anymore. The man just had the best season of his career and they’re gonna just afterthought him

He’s been considerably better than his peers at his position….he really should be a no brainer first teamer but we all know how that goes…
SGA has been outstanding but Dame has been a notch above him clearly and Luka isn’t a guard. And both those dudes might miss the playoffs as well. If they wanna use games played against him then so be it but he’s been the best guard in the league this year…
Stans say the darndest things. Mans knows that Dame is never winning a ring so he's gotta do the most to make sure he's not forgotten.

:wow:
Who's making first team over Dame? Who's putting up better numbers than him?
Luka and SGA are putting up nearly identical numbers as Dame is with better team records. The latter is going to be used against him whether it's fair or not.

Numbers alone isn't going to get you First Team All NBA anymore especially when everyone in the league is putting up big numbers as well. It's the same reason why CP3 would make All NBA team over other guys who put up better raw numbers than he did.
One or even both of them is going to miss the playoffs so you can throw that shyt out. And Luka is not a guard. Reggie Bullock has been the starting 2 for the Mavs all season long.

Dame has been flat out better than SGA all year long. If OKC finishes the year as an 11th seed I don’t see how SGA gets the nod over Dame because he’s a seed higher.

58 games is more than enough. You gotta be a guard putting up comparable numbers with a winning record to get placed over Dame and I just don’t see the candidates…

SGA and Luka the guards named in the 1st team.

@steph_harden taking all types of Ls.
