I just had this convo in another thread, there are no “roles”. GS can win in any number of ways. There is no ‘Jordan Poole role’ as if that’s the only blueprint. Ie before Poole their 6th man was igoudala. Do they play alike? Of course not. Did KD take ‘the Harrison Barnes role’. Of course not. He’s frickin KD
While he’s not KD, the same would apply to Jaylen brown. The ‘role’ does not supersede the talent. You take jaylen brown (and Malcom Brogdon, tf), and the subsequent “roles” would naturally define themselves
