Unpopular opinion.....If you have 8 or fewer years of experience your contract should not be guaranteed. This would give franchises some protection against injury-prone players, mentally unstable players, criminally minded players, lazy players, and players who get big contracts and then become complacent........Of course, there would be exceptions to the rule.
