They shouldn't be working on Dame's timeline anymore IMO, his prime has come and gone. They should be looking to develop a new franchise player and try to either have a 1a 1b situation with dame or move dame to build the roster around that player.

Moving sharpe or ant makes no sense, we've seen how far dame can take this team, getting OG doesn't do anything, you might win a play in game at most, but that's hardly a win for a team that was in the mix for years and has been to the WCF in recent memory.
The problem with the potential Sharpe and Simons tandem is that they both cancel each other out essentially in playing the same position unless Sharpe can play the 3.

Dame and Ant = CJ and Dame. They have the capacity to make it to the WCF.

Dame is playing at all time level. He's in his prime now.

The move for OG, isn't for this year. It's for next year. But mainly they're trying get something for Hart's expiring contract.

They still have more roster turnover to do. But the point is, Sharpe won't be ready for another 2-3 years.

Sharpe can play the 3. But he’s a bit “undersized”. He’s 6’4 1/2. However he does have the athleticism to make up for size.

We just don’t know if sharpe is that type of player yet to put in the work to be that type of on ball defender.

Especially since some of his school tapes say otherwise. I’ll say this he has shown an improvement in regards to defending since the start of the season. But at times he still leaves something to be desired.

Rise up!
I know that he has impact on arguably the best team in the East while Cam Thomas is dropping the most empty points in the league while being a black hole :francis:
It’s not empty if they’re winning and losing by less than ten. The games are close bc of his scoring. Are you a box score fakkit? :heh:

Switch Okoro garbage ass and Cam I promise he couldn’t do half of what Cam is doing. Cavs can literally find someone off the street that could do what Okoro is doing for them.

Btw it’s getting spooky with Jabari smith as well
