I’ve always been critical of Thibs as a HC but the Knicks are performing about on the level as their talent would suggest. I said they were a 6-8th seed playoff team and that’s basically what they are 
Unless he completely falls off a cliff performance wise, games played and his injury issues would be the only reason why he wouldn’t get it.

They're more than likely going to lose Bruce Brown in the offseason, so it makes sense that they use Bones Hyland to get his replacement.

Just 3 wins outta 14 games since the injury, 8 losses in a row, and went from the 3rd seed to a 3-way tie in the 7/8/9th spots... with a healthy Denver as their next opponent. So probably 9 Ls in a row coming up.
