If you're Boston, trading Jalen Brown to Philly makes beating them harder

The only thing trading Brown for Simmons will do is turn Philly into a legitimate title contender and turn the Celtics from being a bad shooting team to legitimately WOAT.

Tatum will have to work harder no doubt when he’s completely surrounded by players that can’t hit a wide open jumper.

Swapping Smart or Schroder for Seth Curry would benefit the Celtics a hell of a lot more than Brown for Simmons

A 1 to 1 swap probably wouldn’t fly cause Jalen is just too premium in this league right now. But if Philly offers Maxey and Simmons for Brown. That makes Boston a lot better and dynamic. Especially if you believe that Tatum and Brown have gone as far as they can together.
