A utility player like Ben Simmons would simplify the game for Tatum…plus Simmons is a natural playmaker that would allow Tatum the luxury of not working so hard on offense. Meanwhile in Philly Jalen would grow into that the number 2 role and be able to unleash his entire game. Both teams would become better

The only thing trading Brown for Simmons will do is turn Philly into a legitimate title contender and turn the Celtics from being a bad shooting team to legitimately WOAT.

Tatum will have to work harder no doubt when he’s completely surrounded by players that can’t hit a wide open jumper.

Swapping Smart or Schroder for Seth Curry would benefit the Celtics a hell of a lot more than Brown for Simmons
