Harden was right there with Curry at the beginning of last season. He wouldn’t have passed him but if he stayed in Houston(and stayed in shape) he would easily be number 2 on the all time list and chasing Curry

It's more about the fact that Steph is still going and still shooting better than everyone else. At age 33 he's #1 in 3 pointers made this season and last year he led as well.
If he keeps this pace for another 3-4 years it's really gonna be tough to break
There's potential Trae could still be 27-28 still playing catch up with Steph because Steph increased his lead on him every year in terms of total 3s made.
For perspective: Trae made 136 3s last year. Steph made 337
Time is on Trae's side but a 200+ 3 gap is a whole season's worth of 3s to overcome.
