Look at the names that recently got waived:

Jabari Parker (#2 pick)
Dante Exum (#5 pick) SHOULDA BEEN A LATE 1ST/EARLY 2ND PICK
Kris Dunn (#5 pick) WAS NEVER THAT GOOD IN COLLEGE, OLDER PLAYER THAT BEASTED ON YOUNG GUYS
Justin Jackson
Stanley Johnson
Harry Giles
Bandon Knight
Marquese Chriss SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN DRAFTED SO HIGH
Avery Bradley. HAD A GOOD CAREER

Some of these guys had "next" and are still hella young.

Just listened to the Kwame Brown interview. This really reinforces his point that there is way too much emphasis on winning as a criterion for success and expectations are way too high for the average black man. Making it 10 years in the league is a success no matter what number you were drafted.

Justin Jackson rather play in the G-league than sign with a team? The Lakers could use him...:wow:

The majority of players on that list all have something in common that’s the main reason why they got waived and/or they never reached their full potential…..

Nahhhhh that has nothing to do with a lot of those players on that list.

Success vs not living up to expectations are two different things.

In Kwame case both can be true

nba you either show early or gone, the days of being a kevin ollie, rick brunson languishing around forever are over

all these guys had numerous chances/numerous starts in the nba , now there are guys who may not be better but are younger and teams will see what they have

Hell, the majority of those guys on the list have struggled with injuries their entire NBA career, which is why they're in the situation that they are in now.

meh
sad thing is the hardest thing in the nba is to get back into it once you are gone
a guy like jarrett culver if he shows nothing this year will be gone shortly as well
