They either look like the defending champs, or a middling 5th seed that'll get bounced.

Giannis and Lopez are the only real consistent players.

the Bucks are still 34-10 when Giannis, Jrue & Middleton all play. that’s a 63 game win pace. I think they have as good a chance of anyone to come out the East.

It's hard to gauge MIL tbh.

Ignoring the LAC game in which the starters didn't play, they got down double digits in their previous 3 (PHI, BK, DAL) and needed Giannis to go super sayian blue to have a chance, which he was able to in 2 of the 3.

But that can be a glass half full/half empty conundrum that their putting themselves in that position. Reminds me of the crazy finish vs Miami last month where they were down 14 late in the 4th but won by 1 via tomfoolery.

Granted no East team other than BOS seems to have their ish together, so that's part of the equation as well.

jokic looked like robert sacre that 1st quarter. awful turnovers, passing when he should have shot and getting stuffed at the rim when a passer of his caliber should have been able to get the ball around ad to the wide open shooter in the corner.

Because the Sixers looked like the best team in the East with just Embiid and Maxey.

Bucks have had their core more than pr much any other team in the NBA outside of maybe Phoenix and they didn't look anywhere near as dominant, even now.
