At this point it is. San Antonio can't tank on the level of OKC or Portland, so they're in no-man's land. I think the magic number is 4 now for the Spurs. One more game against Portland on Sunday should knock it down to 3.

might as well see how your team responds to a playoff race and a win or go home situation. theyre likely going to be one spot lower in the draft than if the lakers make the play-in over them. they could be kicking themselves if the lakers pick gets into the top 4 but it likely wont matter.

Hope my G is fully healthy and ready to return. Don’t want him to reaggravate the injury because he’s rushing back. It’ll be good to have him back even if he’s not fully in playoff mode. Clearly I don’t expect the version of him that was dominating the bubble but I think his playmaking, shooting, and two-man game with Jokic will be a welcome sight.
