Giannis help really isn’t as good as some posters like to hype about,
They ain’t playing too well in this game, but one game isn’t reflective of the entire season. Jrue has been one of the best performing guards this year: averaging 18 points on 60 TS%, defending the best perimeter player every game and the main component of blowing up PNR play, and their main playmaker and ball handler. They’re only 4-10 without him this season - that should give you some insight into how reliant they are on him. Khris has been more inconsistent, but he’s still averaging 20 ppg, is often asked to be the closer for them and relieves a lot of scoring pressure off Giannis.

That’s a lot more help than the other two main candidates have had.
