He has a record to Embiid and Jokic, yet unlike them he's had his running mates [Khris and Jrue] to help him this season. That matters when a narrative is created.

It is the disparity shouldn’t be that much, as you already acknowledged is due to ‘narrative’ he has performed as good as the other two to the point he should be getting more votes.

Here's the thing: MVP voting is not a true reflection of how players perform. Ja has been one of the best players this season, and yet he's received no first-place votes; he's barely received any recognition in relation to what Giannis has received (103 points to 593 points). The disparity shouldn't be that much between the two. He too suffers from the narrative of having a stronger team around him, hence their record without him.
