Did you mean offense? You clearly aren’t watching games to suggest Draymond defense peak was 2015. He was a DPOY candidate this season
I’m watching games

His peak was 15-17 as a defensive player. He not as athletic as he was back then.

But all of what you are saying is aside from my point that he has to defend at an elite level for them to beat the Suns. I don’t thinK he can because his back is fukked up.

:mjlol: Blaming the coach

Zach has proven he is not a #1
Zero reason for him not to be the top SG. The injuries as a whole have hurt the team
You aren't watching the Bulls like I am. I was calling out Donovan's offense early this season even when they were winning games with DeMar playing out of his mind. I even called it fool's gold the way they were winning. The shyt just wasn't sustainable.

Better coached teams win regardless of injuries. Miami has been injured all year and are the 1 seed, Memphis wins no matter who suits up. The main difference is, those teams have systems in place. Billy Donovan has no system. He has relied on ALL-TIME great isolation players his entire NBA coaching career. The Bulls defensive identity died when AC and Zo went down, but that's because it's like the team plays like a bunch of individuals and not a cohesive team... and that's on the coach just as much as the players.

I’ll agree about him relying on ISO players. Miami/Memp are just better overall teams imo. I still don’t believe he’s the main issue. I think they will be capped as a team because Lavine just isn’t that guy who can lead a contender

Better coached doesn't mean more talent. Those teams do not have more talent than Chicago. They do have far superior coaches however.

You’re looking at two games

I’m looking at 70 games and the Suns are shooting just well and their defense is elite. Their discipline is much more sound than GSW.
Yeah. The Suns are better right now. Warriors are looking up to them. And the warriors will have to win in spite of Kerr’s coaching.

monty stresses discipline and poise. He says it all the time in his interviews. Steve Kerr has been coaching for 8 years and still can’t find a way to cut down on turnovers. They’ve been one of the worse teams at taking care of the ball since he stepped in GSW. It may have been fine when they had KD, or when they took the league by storm and got 73 wins, but now other teams have caught up. There’s no room for error. All those TO’s are gonna cost them games, and it already has this season.

not to mention, he holds his own players back and has a Doc Rivers feel for the game. Monty on the other hand, is always cool under pressure, almost ALWAYS makes the correct decision. His rotations are on point, he doesn’t experiment. He’s putting on a coaching clinic.

guaranteed if u give Kerr the PHX roster, he would make Jae Crowder/Ayton the primary ball handlers and have CP and Book run off screens, and almost never utilize the CP/Ayton PnR

Wow the Bulls suck. Like for real. Donovan needs to go, he's just not a good NBA coach. He was just fortunate enough to coach KD for a year or two and KD definitely raises the stock of any coach he plays for. Donovan ain't done shyt since KD left the OKC.

Bulls have no energy, no motivation, that's an easy 1st round exit team. In fact I won't be surprised if they fall to play-in stage like 7th seed is very realistic.

BD is super mid, he has always relied on iso players whether it be KD or CP3. He is the personification of aint coachin shyt....

No shyt....no one claims Zach is a #1, he is an obvious #2. Great scorer but not terribly wellrounded or a guy who is gonna put team on his back for extended periods of time. No one has ever claimed he is THE GUY.

And coaching matters. Spo was winning games with just old ass Lowry and 12th men and G Leaguers when butler and bam were out. Donovan has no offense, no adjustments in game and his rotations are fukkin trash. He gets outcoached regularly. Talentwise we have as much as a lot of teams but when it comes to xs and os we are lacking big time. Not to mention he insists on playing small....we have had a 6'4 bench energy guy as our starting PF all year

3rd issue is we lost our two best defenders for a long tim. Zo and Caruso defense is how we were able to get easy points in transition instead of just DeMar/Zach my turn, your turn

When your 3 best players are bad at defense, you aint goin far. DeMar is below average, Vuc is below average, Zach is mediocre(when he feels engaged)....Zo n Caruso covered up for a lot of that

With a better coach, more defensive center....team would be WAY better

bulls lookin like the hornets :ehh:

Except unlike charlotte the bulls have actually won a playoff series in the last 20 years. Don’t get washed by 40 again the play in games again
you have no idea how badly i want to see this team washed and exposed again :pachaha:

but at least we not out here thinking Pat is the answer :hubie: Billy ain't coaching shyt. But the amount of guys in Chicago that need honest discussions is significant. Its the same thing these Hawks fans ain't want to do last year.

Denver shot 60-45-70 w/ 30 free throws last night, played some of their best basketball for the year and still got beat convincingly at home.

Suns are stacked and on a whole other tier this year.
