Bucks were a scheduled loss for ATL but losing the previous game (to Detroit?) was just inexcusable from Trae n them.
Cavs/Raps stretch run is an intriguing subplot bc altho the Raps would like to move up (and avoid 1 game eliminations) they also don’t give a cotdamn how well Kyrie is playing since he’d be ineligible vs them.
The Cavs just don’t want all that hard work to fizzle away. Play-in tourney is 4/12 - 4/15, and playoffs start 4/16... so idk if a month is long enough to recover from a broken finger (Allen), but at least they’d get an extra week with a top 6 seed.
Happy for Minnesota. They seem to finally be figuring it out. Them vs Memphis would be a fun series. And Memphis is the type of jump you’d hope Minny can have next year; they have the talent.

The seeding shuffling fukkery that is going to take place in the East coming down the stretch is going to be something else.
Depending on where BK potentially winds up will dictate how teams approach closing their seasons. Being the 3rd Seed seems the most ideal path to the ECFs/Finals if you're Boston, Chicago or Miami.

It’s really designed to discourage tanking coupled with the new lottery odds. I think the teams that want to tank still will but it seems to have added some extra incentive to be competitive. It’s also essentially extra playoff games the league & broadcast partners have created. I don’t necessarily disagree it’s an odd system but it’s not going away
