Is it fair to say Embiids defense has taken a step back? Understandable but I have seen him get cooked a lot this year

I've been trying to tell cats this.

There seems to be this narrative that because he's been a dominant defensive player in the past that he still is this season. Which is far from the case. It's what happens when players take on heavy offensive workloads.

Yeah, he's taking on more of the offensive load so it has dropped from his normal level. He been getting cooked alot this year but he usually wakes up in the second half of games and goes nuts on both ends
