BBallBreakdown called this when Jazz were on the winning streak a couple months back, they have fundamental core problem. This is a treadmill team that needs a rebuild.

Every team has had a 'down period' this season, so it only stood to reason that the Jazz would too, especially with the law of averages kicking in with their unsustainable 3-pt shooting (over the first third of the season: 42 attempts per game at 37%). The core has its flaws, but this current iteration is as good as it'll get for them, particularly given that they've got a legit bench now. Nobody is lining up outside the Vivint Arena to play for the Jazz; it's one of the least desirable places for any star player. It's not so simple for them to just rebuild.

They have to see this thing through, win or lose.

I don't think it was an isolated incident, but more wear and tear; his body isn't what it once was. It makes the Wiseman pick look even worse. It'll be an unforgivable mistake if this affects their closing window.

Happy to see Stanley doing well. Hope he latches on and finds a consistent role. His ideal role is probably as a PJ Tucker clone with a bit more offense if he can knock down the 3 consistently.
