True acclaim? If they win a ring, they’re getting it. This city hasn’t seen a title in any sport in 10 years. That’s the longest parade-less drought we’ve had. Nobody’s gonna pretend the Nets’ title didn’t happen if it happens. This city rolls with the winners like any other city.


Y’all just wanna see the Knicks good enough to where their shyt talking has merit.

I wouldn't mind if they were Knicks right now but you are crazy as fukk if you don't think winning the 1st championship for a brand new city franchise would not be MUCH bigger historically.

Imagine if they win 3 straight or some shyt. They would literally own that franchise and city for 20+ years ‍
