Spurs will take Vuc and Gordon for Aldridge, Walker Gay and Lyles :mjlit:
Do that Pops. Don’t know what you see but Pops and Gordon doesn’t seem like a matchup wi hour Pops developing and changing his game. Gordon is overrated as fukk.

get Lonnie Walker out of SanAntonio.

Pacers losing Dipo, who was a great fit with Sabonis and Brogdon, for basically an unplayable player might have them fighting for a playoff spot. They were legit the 3rd or 4th best team in the East before the trade. Still might be but losing a player for nothing might be an uphill battle.

Spurs need depth in the frontcourt. Aldridge is on his last legs, and Rudy's on the last year of his deal. Add Vuc and re-sign DeRozan, and that's two all-star level players on the squad. Spurs got too many guards right now, so I'd take an uber-athletic forward for an uber-athletic guard. Hence the Gordon part. And I could see Gordon vibing with the younger players on the squad.

Lineup would be:

Murray (signed long-term)
White (signed long-term)
Johnson (rookie deal)
DeRozan (re-signed long term)
Vucevic (two years left on deal)

Bench:

Mills (expiring)
Tre Jones (rookie deal)
Vassell (rookie deal
Gordon (would be an expiring next year).
Poetl (signed long-term)
Samanic
Diop

Dipo ain’t no difference maker. He damn sure ain’t make Houston better. That was the right deal for the Pacers if Levert ever plays again at a high level. It’s worth the risk because Dipo already turned down the contract extension which will probably end up being by his Noel/Sprewell moment because he damn sure ain’t worth 25 million a year at the moment .
