Sure. But Pierce & Toine also benefitted from playing in the worst conference in modern NBA history. My point was more about trajectory, and that Pierce & Toine didn't have any type of success together until they were both in their mid-20s.

It's not a one-to-one comparison regardless.

The Nets have looked better as a cohesive unit this postseason than the Clippers did at any point last year. They mesh well together already. I'm looking forward to seeing Steve's coaching ability.

Man I hate this comparing eras shyt. True or false, the Teams Tatum and Brown are on the last couple seasons are infinitely more talented top to bottom than the late 90s early 00s Celtics teams. They will always have a higher trajectory if the rosters are better.
