Tatum dumb ass mightve cost his team the game
Brown was rotting away on the bench this season
Now he's showing he's a player
Gotta be a hooper to get this far. I always felt like teams should start the year off playing the entire roster before they start putting guys out of rotation. There shouldn't be any "surprise" players. Hell, I'm sure a lot of guys like Brown are probably standouts in practice, but coaches often find themselves keeping them rotted on the bench.
That kind of flexibility is why Pop has been coaching so long, IMO. He knows how to utilize and harness players individual talents. If you got game, you can be at the furthest end of the bench and he'll find a way to get the best 15 minutes out of you in a situation where he knows you have an advantage.
