I'll do you one better, I'll name 10.

CP3
Wall
LeBron
Trae
Morant (slept on as a passer really)
LaMelo
Lillard
Simmons
Doncic
Harden (this could be the only one up for debate.)

That's not even including honorable mentions like Rubio and Westbrook.

Lonzo passes well on the break and is a good tempo setter but he is not a top playmaker primarily because he does not get enough penetration and beat his man enough. LaMelo is a better playmaker already because he's been practically getting to the hole at will.
Half the players on that last create for themselves more than their team. Lillard is a terrible passer for a point guard. He misses wide open guys either intentionally or unintentionally all the time.

Morant is not a great passer, neither is Wall. They’re really fast which draws help defenders, but I wouldn’t call them guys with vision.

The rest of the list dominate the basketball and have offenses geared around them. Not really an apples to apples comparison.

Lonzo only has vision when his teammates gets open. he doesn't initiate plays or move defense.

I should have said better play making

Lonzo has the vision to see the play, Lamelo has the vision how to create the play. He looks way better in pick and roll and has a better handle. He’s easily going to be better than lonzo.

Lavar said all along that Melo was the best out of his 3 sons

but I'm not gonna sh*t on Lonzo when he looked like a top 7-8 PG for stretches last season

lonzo ain’t never really showed to be a play creator, especially in the half court. He’s a great passer for sure and will make the pass to set up right teammate but to actually make the play happen, I haven’t seen it. Not shytting on him just ain’t seen it

He's not consistent, but again, there were stretches that he was masterful at creating in PnR...this was when Jrue was out & Zion hit a stride tho

Lonzo has room to improve for sure, I think he will. His ceiling to me is 17-10-7.

Wall is a great passer even in the half court

fukk it give Terance Mann the keys. He’s shown some promise and gives it his all. I’d start him and if shyt’s looking shaky look to trade for a starting PG during the season.
I think they wanted to S+T trezz for Rozier but those plans blew up. They need to make a move because kawhi without an all star PG isnt the same

Looking at these G league highlights it’s literally a scrimmage nobodies playing defense.

how are these top high school
guys who went there supposed to be properly evaluated?

You still not giving Lonzo his due. His vision is up there with anybody. Yea i agree his passiveness limits his game. But let's not kid ourselves...you couldnt name 5 better playmakers in the league today better.

I never knew Lamelo could be this talented as a playmaker/passer tho
Zo is really just a breakstarter he's really more of a 2-guard in the halfcourt.

LeBron
Simmons
Harden
Doncic
Young

Easy :pachaha:

LaMelo can break down a defense better and has more flair :manny:
