So you can’t double Harden or KD, and Kyrie allegedly will let Harden take the playmaking responsibilities so he can just focus on dancing on everyone 1 on 1 too..

Giannis Embiid Tatum Brown Lamelo gonna have to form like Voltron or the East is done :sadcam:

"Bbb-but there's only 1 ball" :mjcry:

Eastern Conference only has 3 teams with a winning record right now and the top two are both on 3-game losing streaks. :picard:
Up until a couple weeks ago, there were 4 Teams in the East( Nets, Bucks, Philly and Boston) that had a shot to come out.

Whereas only the two LA Teams were the only two that anyone think had a realistic shot until the Jazz got hot.

I may have been wrong about thinking the East has closed the gap within the past couple years ...but the East definitely has been more top heavy for a while now.

If you not counting Kyrie or Harden, I feel he’s a Top 5 SG and right behind Beal and Booker as far “True” 2 Guards go :hubie:
Throw in Brown, Mitchell, CJ, PG13, and maybe Shai if he counts and SG is as deep as it's been in a long time even with Klay hurt. Seems like just a little while ago there were only 2-3 elite 2-guards in the whole league.

Not even wanting to disrespect Oladipo, VanVleet, Hardaway, Gordon....and I'm sure I'm forgetting guys.

If you truly believe in bubble-Mitchell awakening again in the playoffs, then yea Utah can win the West regardless of if it's a fully healthy Lakers or Clippers squad. There is no answer for bubble-Mitchell, who is comparable to Kyrie and Wardell activating ultra instinct.

However, if you believe bubble-Mitchell was a farce brought upon by causality; basically a fluke and he'll go back to his spotty performances from prior playoffs... then yea, Utah will be at their limit simply reaching the conference finals, that is if they can secure the #1 seed and Phoenix doesn't fukk up the bracket by moving to the #2 or #3 spot with AD and PG being out.

I think it’s less about Mitchell and more about if they can continue shooting like this for an entire playoffs. Even with Mitchell going for 50 multiple times they couldn’t beat Denver after holding a 3-1 lead.

They’re basically the only good team that hasn’t been hit by injuries/Covid also. I can’t fully buy them as contenders yet, especially with Quinn Snyder coaching.

Good on Robes for making it back into the league. Have no clue what he has left anymore but I hope he shows enough to stick around.

Also :dead: at the Nets front office apparently just asking KD if he knows anybody when it comes to moves. Perk & Singler probably just waiting for the call at this point.

I see both as a requirement and i'm just assuming (maybe erroneously) that Utah can keep shooting the way they do on open shots.. so my attention was on the Mitchell component.

i.e.If you combine Mitchell's stellar level of play from last playoffs with Utah's 3point shooting this year... they can win the championship, because then you can't really double Mitchell due to shooters, and the shooters will offer Mitchell more than enough support throughout the course of the game, so Mitchell only really has to go crazy for select moments.

But if it's just one or the other (stellar shooting or Mitchell going off) then nah it's not gonna work out for them imo.

The Perry Jones III redemption story. As long as Roberson is over that boy body 2k girl and can play defense he will be fine.
