You calling a squad with a young Klay, Dray and David Lee was "Marginal" :dwillhuh:

They were the most talented up and coming team in the league...had legit players. They were just young.

If you trying put that squad on the same level as this current version then Steph better have this team in the playoffs foreal or else it aint gonna look good for him
Nobody said that or thought that stop

Nobody was calling the Warriors the most talented up and coming team in the league back in 2013. Steph was seen as an undersized injury-prone guard, Klay a middling piece, and nobody was even paying attention to Draymond. The Thunder, Grizzlies, Clippers, Pacers, Nuggets etc were revered in that manner before the Warriors were.

Y'all fukk nikkas with your revisionist history need to stop.

You exposed yourself. You a brand new nikka

Yes nikka

Klay avg 16 a game as a sophomore and dray played 13 mins a game and he was a rookie averaging 3pts with horrendous efficiency :mjtf:

again I’m convinced u started watching hoop in ‘15 if u think Klay and Draymond were the big names u think. We aren’t gonna do revisionist history and act like the warriors were great in 2013. They were a middle of the road team that had one all star that was injured and barely played the series.

so u tell me how a 47-win team missing their only star for the series ends up beating a 57-win 3 seed. It was Steph’s FIRST playoff series. He won, he stepped up. Y r u so mad that he won?

y’all just want Steph to play on a team full of YMCA rejects. Steph doesn’t even know u exist., stop hating

Where’s the hate? Ya’ll Steph stans be way too sensitive. And you act like 16ppg on almost 40% from 3 while giving u solid defense is light work or something.

All that other shyt u talking is for the birds. All I said is that the 2013 Weren’t a marginal squad. They were just a young squad...but they definitely didn’t lack talent which is what a marginal squad is.

So what do u want. That warriors team wasn’t a good offensive team. Mark Jackson was a good defensive coach but his offense was outdated. They had Klay and Harrison Barnes out there doing post-ups. They weren’t seen as a threat at all. That’s why there were a 6 seed.

again. That 1st round win was seen as a resounding upset all across the board. Klay was a role player and Draymond was less than a role player.

stop. The 2013 warriors were a middle of the road team. They weren’t contenders at all. But Steph took over the series and got them past the nuggets. And gave the Spurs a run for their money. Having a sophomore Klay Thompson who did post ups to score most of his points wasn’t a needle-mover for them.

outside of Klay u can’t name any other play that was more than a role player. It was D Lee (who was injured), and Steph. Come playoff time their only prominent player was Steph. So they won an entire series off a fringe all star
