They haven't even played half a season together yet...

And the pels front office needs to decide which route they plan to take....either go young all out or fill this team with vets and try to.win now

This half and half shyt is not going to work
I think it's good to mix some vets with the young guys to provide that stability. It's not like they have a bunch of raw players who need to develop before they can compete, Ingram and Zion are already good. But they do need an identity and they don't have it yet.

My guess is that their biggest stall is trying to figure out whether they can build around Ingram and Zion together or are better off trading one for someone who's a better fit for the other. Cause in the grand scheme of things no one else on this team really matters outside of those two. Either you figure out how to maximize your results when they're both on the court, or do something else. Having two high-scoring forwards whose games don't complement each other probably isn't the best way forward.

They going with Zion....

That's an easy call...

Actually I think they're fine with both....Ingram isn't in the post and rarely drives to the rack anyway....

The guard play is the bigger issue

The biggest issue with "going with both" is that even if they figure out how to work best together, you're still spending 2/3 of your cap on two forwards who both are primarily scorers. That makes it tough to have enough left over to spend on all the defense, ballhandling, and shooting that you need to build around them.

If Zion can become a rim protector or Ingram can continue to evolve as a distributor and defender it would help a lot. But if they are forced to find a very good passing PG who can also shoot, plus a great 3-and-D guard, plus a rim-protecting 5 who is also spreading the floor so Zion can operate....that's a lot to ask for.

Zion and BI have combined for 64 points on 35 shots.

They're 24/35 from the floor for 68.7%

High key will be scary in their prime if they can get a star guard.
Redikk (expiring)
Hayes
NAW
Lonzo

Beal

Works money wise. Throw in a bunch of those AD/Holiday picks and try it

Patty locking down tatum preventing the pass:lolbron:

Shame LMA has decided to protest basketball by not rebounding anymore. Spurs could be a stubborn playoff team

so is middleton (when bud isn't being a jackass and giannis ain't handing the game away)

and middleton is actually a damn good defender with size.

This. Middleton has been the main closer and it's working because.....he can actually shoot. 9 outta 10 teams would take a 6'8" wing who can defend, shoot and create his own shot over a 6'3" scorer who is mediocre at best at defense

Jordan Clarkson:blessed:

Yall nyggas refuse to talk about the Jazz on here.

Jazz are always great in the reg season but we know they not real contenders and never will be:manny:

Middleton has got to be one of the most underrated players on The Coli. I don't get why guys are so down on him, they just expect him to be slightly more than he is. I have about 50 comments from 2017-2018 talking about different trade scenarios to get him next to Bron cause with Klay out he has an argument to be the best 3-and-D in the entire NBA.
