I don't think there is a single team wanting to buy into Lonzo right now.
There’s always 1 team out there bro. People said the same with Gordon Hayward. You can sell a fanbase on Lonzo. Front offices will look at guys like Kidd and Nash who took a few years to breakout and convince themselves Lonzo can too. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if he gets 15M a season. I can see him getting that pretty easily actually. Rich Paul gonna finesse a team. He gonna do the KCP plan, if you want to talk to a free agent next year, take care of Lonzo and I’ll make sure y’all good

Lonzo is definitely going anywhere on the first flight outta here at the deadline if he and his agents continue to delude themselves into thinking he's a $25+ million a year player like Jamal Murray, Tatum, Brown, etc. All jokes aside I like the kid, but he needs to understand he is never going to be anything but a roleplayer in the league and tailor his future career expectations and wage demands to that reality fast if he wants to stay on this team with his old Laker pals :yeshrug:
I hope he’s not serious asking for that much :mjlol: but he is a Rich Paul client so chances he’s going to shoot himself in the foot and end up taking short money like KCP did.

Lonzo is like the worst kind of guard to build a team around his skillset. There are poative and negative player. He's like a straight up Zero player.

Can't make FTs. So, he's too scared to drive. When he drives... He has zero moves to make contested shots. So, he either misses, gets blocked, or worse get sends to the FT line. His 3pt shot is all rhythm. So, he has wild spurts and spacing is simply through volume. He runs offense like it's rec ball league and he constantly gets caught in low IQ positioning on defense.

He doesn't really provide much synergy on offense outside of pocket passes and making shots at horrible efficiency. His on ball defense is really boom or bust while his off ball is simply okay.

That’s just not a worthwhile starter.

Klutch is most definitely starting the contract negotiations for his rookie extension at $20 million a year bare minimum after the Fultz deal. I am 99% sure our FO already offered him a more reasonable extension and he declined it to "bet on himself" in hopes of getting that kind of big money, cause that is exactly what happened with Ingram. Difference is Ingram elevated himself into an all-star in the best season of his career to earn that payday... while Zo is out here getting outplayed by his little brother who's only been in the league for a month. :francis:
