Never thought id see the day Jerami Grant is a leading scorer for a team

For a bottom 3 team in the league tho..

Dude is a 3rd option who gave up playoff basketball so he can be a big scorer on a shyt team(ego)

Watching him under Donovan this season has convinced me he's a legit 1st Option in the NBA.

He's scoring efficiently at every level, and getting to the line.

Now his next evolution is balancing out his scoring with his playmaking ability. He could have fed guys late in this game against LA and used himself as a decoy because the Clippers forced him into some tough ass shots down the stretch.

LaVine is prob a top 10 scorer rn but he has to become a consistent playmaker and at least ok on defense to be a true #1 on a high level team.

His defense has much improved as well tho.

The main missing link for me is the playmaking aspect. If he ever finds the right mix and balance between the 2 (scoring and playmaking) is the big question on him for me
