Of course he looked explosive at Duke...he was faster....stronger....and could out jump everybody....now he in the nba and he’a an undersized PF...playing against guys that can compete athletically.....
Yeah his defense could definitely use some work....
But lets be real....most these nikkas don’t play much defense anyway.....
Also, the whole most these mfs don’t play defense thing is a cop out and false. He’s just boom or bust with poor defensive awareness/recognition off-ball.

The Nets are a solid team without KD and Kyrie. This is the same core that played well in the bubble minus Dinwiddie so no one expected them to layover but this is unacceptable from Joel and Benjamin. Stars don't get smoked like this with the other team's stars absent.
