Man I miss bubble ball just how the arenas and cameras were

playing in these big ol empty arenas just feels like watching a scrimmage

agreed, they should bring back that set up until they can get people inside

bubble ball felt more intense. Hopefully it’s just the byproduct of it being the preseason

My hot take.

One of my Cavs PGs Darius Garland or Colin Sexton will put up some big numbers. And we will be horrible.

I really like this Ibaka signing
I was telling a buddy a couple weeks back that i thought LAC made the right decision prioritizing defense and size (pause) over the point guard narrative. Lue said something last night along the lines of what i was sayin: basically their need for a "true point guard" is a bit overrated bc it's not like they have a buncha rip hamilton ass nyggas who need someone to gift wrap them the initial pass to score.

The "problem" was they needed more ball movement after one of them received the initial pass. And even then, yall had the 2nd best o-rating last year. If by mid-season yall can comfortably put out a Batum George Kawhi Morris Ibaka lineup for stretches, with them committed to swinging the ball.. that's a big upgrade from last year.

I said it in the NBA Offseason Thread ... John Wall will be the comeback player of the year. He still looked fast in all the open runs I saw him and he looks like he may be the strongest PG in the league too. Don’t know how far they can make it in the playoffs but I hope Wall gets a ring one day. One of my favorite players all time.

Wall and Boogie were great. However, Eric Gordon looked like the best player on the floor at times... and i don't gotta tell you that that nygga ain't gon shoot 70% from the field... nor is Gerald Green and them gon shoot 46-50% on 3s every night on 52 shots. This probably happens once every 8 games for Hou dating back to 2017, it just so happens the timing of this occurrence was game 1 of the preseason.

So it'll be interesting to see what this offense actually is once things get serious. But for now, the most important thing is Wall and Boogie got off to the best start we could hope for.

Batum George Kawhi Morris Ibaka

You’re using your brain.

Assuming Batum bounces back that should be the closing lineup. The only person they lost worth shedding a year over was JaMychal. For the needs of The Clippers..

Serge>>Trez
Luke>>Shamet

I keep hearing The Clippers got worse but those people clearly don’t watch the team or understands the needs. They actually got better
