Book and Ayton are a Legit 1-2 young punch to build around for the 2020’s.. I rather have them than Embiid/Ben and Zion/Ingram.. The only better young duo I can think of off top would be Tatum/Brown and Brown could definitely be traded in a couple years.
Ayton isn’t ready to be your #2. CP3 presence is greatly underrated

A 1-2 punch imo is when both players can get their own. Ayton at this point is not someone you can dump the ball to & say go to work.

Legit makes no sense. There were basically 8 years where both of them were in their prime (2006-2013). During those 8 years, at least one of them made the Finals EVERY season, yet they NEVER made the Finals in the same season.

Considering how often each one made it during that stretch, mathematically there is over a 90% chance that they would meet in the Finals at least once. And yet we got the timeline where they never met.

His been showing a nice midrange face up jumper as well as a nice fadeaway and turnaround jumper with his back to the basket. It hasn’t been all alley oops.
