Knicks play in the afternoon before Milwaukee Saturday. If they win, does Milwaukee 'rest' Giannis and some of their main players against Miami to possibly avoid playing them again in the 2nd round

EDIT: Meant 1st round

Ideally MIL would want the 2nd seed and line BK (3) up with MIA (6). So if Knicks win, MIA sinks to 6 temporarily and MIL has a choice to make:

• Try to beat MIA and gamble BK loses 1 of their back-2-backs (if gamble fails, MIL is now stuck with MIA)
• Tank vs the Heat and count on MIA beating DET to stay in the 4/5 slot. Forfeit home court vs BK but you avoid MIA in round 1
