That’s a horrible look for the team. Why would you undermine the coaching staff by suspending the dude...that scrub was out of line. You can’t yell at a dumbass player anymore
The coach was literally giving off the optics that he wanted to throw the fade with the player for disrespecting him. Players break rank on plays all the time, yet you don't see other coaches in the league acting and doing what Foster did.
It also didn't help matters that the incident happened the day after the Woj report came out after the HC being one and done.

naw that shyt literally happens all the time. Foster is a vet big man coach doing it for more than a decade and this kid is a 2nd year player. He was out of line and the coach let him know about it. He didn’t throw hands or nothing...how u gonna suspend a coach because he was upset at player who was wrong disrespecting him? That shyt causes all types of descension on a team.

He’s weirdo but he’s got heart. His playoff runs with Cavs proved it...he played hurt and hard as fukk gotta hand it to him.
That's the entire point though.
The Woj report stated that there was turmoil within the organization from the HC and his relationship with his players and staff. That incident made everything in that report have merit and seem true. You could tell that even Lamb and Sabonis felt a certain way about it as they were being vocal back at Foster as well.
Bleacherreport followed it up with more details that explained what's going on and why the HC and his entire staff is likely getting the boot after the season is over. You should also expect that the team to be blown up as well.

Foster is a coach. A coach is supposed to remain level headed. U chew him out of after the game. Foster looked like he wanted to square up mid game. Goga is 20. Foster was wrong period you don’t react like that as a professional basketball coach. I would fire him if I was running the team. The players do not vibe with that staff from Bjorken on down that was already reported before that happened.

Dude openly disrespected his coach for the world to see and Foster is just supposed to sit there and take it? When all he was trying to do was coach up this lazy scrub??

And what type of message does that send to the players? Goga’s bum ass behavior just got rewarded.
Since when is it a problem when a coach chews out a player? That’s some soft shyt for the Pacers to do...no wonder they got leaks everywhere.
