It all really depends on how they play in the playoffs. If they somehow take a team to 6 or 7 games and look very good, or god forbid steal a series, I don't think KP gets traded.

There's definitely friction between them. Luka looks off KP at times. That probably rubs him the wrong way.

KP will get a rebound and Luka comes running to him to start offense and KP will decide to throw a halfcourt pass to Josh Richardson over handing the ball off to Luka. This kind of stuff happens noticeably more than you'd expect.

Even before the Luka game winner there was a play where KP made a great defensive hustle play deflecting the ball into the back court, chasing it down with Morant and JV trailing and knocking it off MEM under DAL's basket... and literally no one got hyped for him.

Usually teammates get hyped with that sort of effort. I think one teammate helped him up and then KP just stood by himself waiting for the ball to be inbound.

That's when it became noticeable that something was off

KP strikes me as a fairly aloof guy who keeps to himself and his inner circle. Consisting mostly of his 2 brothers who he's always lived with.
He probably doesn't fukk with anybody on the team heavy off the court, just like he didn't in NYC.

He was probably never going to be BFFs with anybody on the team anyways. Even if we were winning tons of games and were a 2 seed. Doesn't seem like its in his personality

Add in all the injury time missed and now the incessant load managing by the FO/staff, I could definitely see some lowkey resentment brewing towards him for not holding up his end of being a max player.

Probably not entirely his fault, but I could see it :ehh:

We all know Cuban puts heavy emphasis on the locker room culture. For that reason, I'm fairly certain KP is getting moved in the offseason. He and Luka don't fukk with each other. shyt has been brewing for a few months, local media has picked up on the story over the last few weeks, and Cuban kinda acknowledged there's friction on The Ticket a few days ago. You saw it on display in the game-winner last night where KP didn't even celebrate with the team. He looked salty it went in.

Get his jealous a$$ outta here. Never wanted him from the jump. I was hoping they traded him last last offseason. Luka seems like an easily likable guy one of those ppl that if you have an issue with him, it probably has something to do with you.
Never liked him:camby:

Yeah soon as he get the likes of Durant and a stacked team :mjlol:

we all seen he can’t do that as the number#1 option

:mjlol: hater talk. Kyrie's been pretty efficient for years and has been shooting 40% from three for like 4-5 seasons now. He got close to 50/40/90 his first years in Boston lol @ you acting like he all of a sudden became like this cuz of a "stacked team"
