They could've sat Curry over any of the small injuries he's picked up or been sidelined with this season and bundled up. Same with Dray.
They're trying to win. They're not good. And the FO is delusional too.
When they left the draft with both Wiggins and a top 3 pick, it was a rap. That's the start of a package that gets you damn near any available, non-cornerstone player in the league. Its bad enough they think they can still run with the best teams with that depleted roster. Even worse they think they can bring a rookie up to speed and win at the same time.

Kerr could've brought him in a little bit earlier, but Steph ended up playing 37 minutes (he's already admitted that he prefers playing entire quarters to keep rhythm). If Steph needs to play 40 minutes every night for them to win, then it's less a coaching issue and more a personnel one.

That's fair. I'll say, as far as tonight, they missed a of open 3s and still had the lead going into the fourth. A better shooting night and maybe that win that game despite Kerr being late to bring Curry back in.

They may have the Minnesota pick to use... they might get Jalen Green on a rookie deal, Klay coming back, another year of Wiseman development... Steph is still great. Their defense this season has not been bad. They just don't have enough guys who can create their own shot or shots for others.
