He's no longer in his prime. It's been that way for years. People get confused when you are no longer at your peak but still playing at a high level. He's not the player he was 8 or 9 years ago. It's pretty clear if you remember the monster he was back then. He does in spurts or in high leverage moments what he used to do all the time. It's just that he is so great that this lesser version of him is still ridiculous.
