Yes, the pressure may be off now that he's literally on the most stacked offensive team in NBA history. :mjlol:

He got beat by the 2014 Blazers even after they lost CJ. He got beat by the 2013 Thunder even after they lost Westbrook. He don't have shyt to say about rosters when you look at the teams that have beat him.

Also CJ McCollum wasn't even a thing in 2014.

Dude didn't emerge until two seasons later. That was the series where Lamarcus Aldridge made every single mid range jumper. Nic Batum and Wesley Matthews was on that team and that was the 4-5 matchup in which any of those teams could have won.

Wade still doesn't have Harden's playmaking ability. We're talking about a guy who averaged 36 and 8 assists lol He may not have chips bc he didn't play with Shaq or Lebron at the peak of his powers but I'm taking Harden over Wade all time. Outside of Lebron, we've never seen the combination of scoring, playmaking, durability to play EVERY NIGHT & floor raising ability. No disrespect to Wade but we're looking at 6 out of the last 7 seasons in which Harden had a legit case for being the league's MVP as a finalist or winner + 3 scoring titles & on track to win his 2nd assist title.

I look at Harden the same way I look at Clayton Kershaw pre 2020 or Peyton Manning before Bob Sanders managed to stay out of the hospital for the only 3 week stretch of his life & Von Miller carried him in 2015. Still great but just needed extra help. Maybe KD/Kyrie changes that

Wade was young when he played with Shaq, same age Harden was when he played with KD and Russ. I judge guys by what they do when it's needed most. For me that is >>> regular season performance regardless of how great it may be. Where has this superlative scoring and playmaking been when it was needed most? You up double digits in back to back games with a chance to go to the Finals...where is it? Steph out for the series...where is it? Klay out for most of the fourth in a elimination game...where is it? KD out for the series...where is it? Kawhi out, season on the line...where is it? Dudes numbers in elimination games are atrocious. We don't see all the shyt you talking about when it's hot. We see the exact opposite. That's what makes me look at those numbers funny. Superstars are supposed to go to another level in the playoffs. He drops off. So I can't look at those numbers the same. Not to mention he was in a known cheese offense that took Nash from a nice player to an pantheon PG at 30. Wade on the other hand made his name by stepping up when shyt was on fire. I do think he is kinda overrated and lived off of that series for pretty much the rest of his career. Harden definitely has him on durability and longevity. The 2012 Thunder win it all with a 22 year old D. Wade. Is young Harden stepping into Wade's shoes and delivering down 0-2 and down 13 late in 2006? 27 year old D. Wade is giving you more against the Spurs without Kawhi. Wade did what was necessary on and off the court to make him and Bron work. Harden didn't do that with CP3. He didn't even do it with his man's Russ. Would he do it with Bron?
