:mjlol: Giannis a character

Know it's against popular opinion this year...but with Embiid out for a second, He's the MVP again so far this year...I hear the podcastors with votes trying to talk themselves into entering Harden into the conversation but barring Giannis because of a disappointing postseason...as if James doesn't have a even longer disappointing postseason resume

If the Nets finish higher than the Bucks I think it's hard to argue against Harden

Argument will obviously start with him playing with two other all NBA players (and won't be the best player on his own team when KD comes back), basketball wise, and the fact that he quit the Rockets narrative wise

For sure, especially since there's admitted narrative based voters.

But I'm calling it how I see it. There's also the possibility of Embiid strengthening his case if the Sixers dip and get better when he comes back. It's all possible.

I think the Bucks will have to be a top 2 seed for Giannis to get it again.

It’s partly him disappointing in the playoffs but even more it’s voter fatigue. There’s a reason no one has won it 3 years in a row since the mid-80s.

I say it's all this. He disappointed in the playoffs two years ago and still won MVP last yera. Harden won MVP after his epic choke job against SA. Bron won after 2011 Finals. The squad has actually taken a step back in comparison to the previous two regular seasons. As we have seen, the bar to get 3 in a row is rather high and it's probably something we won't see again for a long time. I mean Jordan didn't win that shyt on a 69 win team after leading the league in scoring and coming off a chip.
