24 PPG on 47% from the field, 37% from 3 and 83% from the line is elite. He's right behind Harden and Klay, on that tier with Beal, Booker and CJ offensively.
And I'd argue that Zach has shown to be a better shooter and defender than Booker thus far.
Wiggins averaged 23 PPG in his 3rd season in the league NOT his 5th were we assuming he was an elite scorer
.
That must be a TO thing because I've never heard anyone say Wiggins was an elite scorer. He was a volume shooter. Zach shot better from the field, 3 and line than Wiggins every season and can score within the offense. Zach has shot better than Wiggins in their careers while being smaller and at times masquerading as a PG.
The eye test matters as well. With one minute left in a tight game, man to man defense Zach can go ISO and get you buckets on consecutive plays. He can see a double coming and find the open man, something Wiggins struggles with. He plays hard on every possession and doesn't disappear for quarters at a time, you always know that he's in the game. He can break down the man in front of him and put the ball in the basket. Those are trademarks of an elite scorer. An ISO on the perimeter with the game on the line and Andrew Wiggins may dribble the ball off of his foot.
