I don't disagree that Doc played a pivotal part in their demise, but ultimately, they're a team full of one-dimensional offensive players, where contrast and balance are non-existent; too much overlay of the same skillsets with an absence of leadership and BBIQ. Lou Will is the closest thing they have to a leader, and yet he's been a chucker all his career, who's never really played a team-game. There's a reason why he's a 6th man.

The funny thing is, they probably would've beaten every other team, except for the Lakers. This series loss makes them look worse than they actually are. They just came up against an all-time big man, which was essentially their biggest weakness.

Styles make fights and all that.
Yeah it turns out Harrell and Lou aren’t really deep playoff guys. Balmer will spend to improve the role players. They just need to get rid of Doc first.

They shouldnt talk about anyone who moved on further than them imo. Especially how Dame tapped out. And I like Dame. Dude is just too twitter fingers for a player who actually is in those same situations not advancing
The Blazers weren't favored to win it all to start the season and Dame didn't play with a supposedly stacked roster.

Also, Damn near half the Blazers were injured and we have one guy who didn't even show up in the bubble.

Back in November last year:
I have a feeling this load-management for Kawhi is going to come back and bite Doc/Clippers in the postseason. Not because it's not wise a strategy, by itself, but it's going to give false readings on how they're performing. If they lose without Kawhi, it's going to be more about Kawhi not playing, as opposed to looking at the deeper issues with the squad. Their lack of size and shooting could be their undoing.

The Clippers loss was terrible. They've been inconsistent all year and it finally caught up with them. No floor leader, no effective coaching adjustments, and even defensively they had no answers for Jokic and Murray. Just an embarrassing ending all around.

Lakers will smoke the Nuggets. Bron is locked in, which means the whole team is locked in. They're playing great on both ends, and if they go up by 15 or they get up 3-1 or 3-2 they're going to put feet on necks. McGee and Howard are good enough to give Jokic trouble, they have enough defenders to throw at Murray, and the Nuggets have no answers for Bron or AD.

Boston should beat the Heat in 7, but it will be close. Two great coaches, but Boston has more talent. They have to close games out down the stretch though.
