If the Clippers stop bullshyttin the league will have a great Final Four suited for TV ratings, team prestige, rivalry and fanbase enthusiasm

Lakers vs Celtics is probably their first choice for obvious reasons. Bring Magic and Bird or some other legends in the bubble and play up the tradition.

Lakers vs Heat would be a great story. Riles and Spo getting their revenge against Bron for the summer of 2014 fukkery.

The Clippers vs Heat. My sentimental pick. Jimmy getting another chance at Kawhi after he stole his soul with the “shot” last season.

Clippers vs Celtics. Already one of the best games in the bubble this year. And we would get Morris chumping Hayward, Smart vs Beverly and Doc Rivers getting his payback against Ainge and finally shutting Bill Simmons up about how genius Stevens is.

Unless Denver pulls the upset, the league can’t lose.
They didn’t stop with the bullshyt

Y'all wanna see a dead body?

:mjlit:
Where’s the MVP Jokic @Gil Scott-Heroin ?
The MVP Jokic is looking great tonight @Gil Scott-Heroin, really making an impact on the game
@Gil Scott-Heroin not upping this thread tonight?

Jokic still better than Carmelo when he was a Nugget?
Assistant Coach of the Year Mike Malone and MVP Candidate Jokic, everybody

@Gil Scott-Heroin another L for you casual
Look at all the generational talent :gladbron:

@Gil Scott-Heroin so now it’s Porzingis and Jokic who are more skilled than Embiid, Giannis and Ben Simmons :deadmanny:
Another great game from MVP Jokic tonight. Why didn’t you up this thread @Gil Scott-Heroin
@Gil Scott-Heroin how did Nikola “better than Giannis” Jokic do against the Kings yesterday? :mjlol:

Be top 5 but get outplayed by Richaun Holmes.
Interesting how you weren’t around until he threw up that prayer. I hope you keep the same energy in this series for the best big man and MVP against the Clipppers.
“JOkiC is dA beSt offEnsIVe anChor in Da lEaGUe” - @Gil Scott-Heroin

Get outplayed by Alex Len on both sides of the floor and be unable to defend the paint :mjlol:

where’s his game winner tonight? :mjlol:

quiet as a cemetery in here :russ:
They told me he was top 5 and better than Giannis :mjlit: right @Gil Scott-Heroin

Get that fat slob out of here :camby:
The best offensive player in the league and MVP Jokic is NOWHERE to be found
Kasual Korner guys like @Gil Scott-Heroin and @Rhakim keep saying Jokic is an MVP candidate
The disgusting part about @Gil Scott-Heroin is that he dumped on Julius Randle who hit a clutch shot to beat the Mavericks (and he ran and hid as normal) after having an average game, and yet he’s in here slurping you Jokic after a poor performance because he hit game winner.

Like all casual, highlight watchers, he never wants to tell the whole story.
Portland and OKC are bad teams. There’s no argument.

He stat padded in blowouts against them and in the Celtics game when the team got destroyed in the second half. His best game was against the Nets. The fact you Jokic fans are literally grasping for good games by him shows how casual you are. He ain’t a top 10 NBA player and damn sure can never be the best player on a championship team.

You said he’s top 5 and MVP candidate.
He’s getting outplayed by everybody tonight

@Gil Scott-Heroin why not up this?
Jokic is a head case and can’t handle the Clippers defense mentally or physically. He’s been exposed and clearly has maxed out. So much for the best offensive anchor in the league. Can’t even score on Marcus Morris on the block. We won’t even mention defense.
What makes Jokic so unique? If Sabonis was in the league during his prime, he would’ve been Jokic. Jokic cannot be your best player if you’re competing for a championship.

Only someone who views the game through statistics (like you :mjlol:) would think otherwise. As proven last playoffs, he CANNOT produce a basket when you most need one, whether passing or going to get one for himself.
@Gil Scott-Heroin with another monumental L. When Joker goes home tonight it’ll be 2 :mjlol:

I can't see the Lakers defeating a healthy Clippers team in the postseason as of right now, the deciding difference is the bench. The consistency of Lou & Harrell for the second unit is too much. Clippers also have a legitimate 4 players to send at LeBron :wow:
It's not all one way.

The Lakers' wins this season have been through their size, experience/BBIQ, and discipline - which are the main weaknesses of the Clippers. In a playoff setting, the bench becomes less of a factor, so I wouldn't be putting all this weight behind the Clippers' depth being the deciding factor.
I'll give you size differential but you buggin' with the rest
In regards to their discipline: they have the third-worst foul rate in the league, and their basketball-inflection is built on one of the most volatile players in the league (Pat Bev); we've seen a # of games this season where the Clippers ride Pat's wave of emotion.

In regards to their experience/BBIQ: although PG mitigates some of their issues, they've been getting by on talent on the offensive end, and not necessarily through structure, and through their main rotation, they don't have sustained experience, particularly in the frontcourt, which could be a potential problem against a team like the Lakers who have more experience in the roles they're in
.
How exactly does a team stop an offense with PG, Kawhi, Lou and Montrezl? If the Clippers can mask Lou and Trezz’s defensive shortcomings I can’t see the Lakers beating them. That offense is too potent.
By utilizing their size advantage and forcing them into taking shots outside the paint (the Lakers have the best defensive personnel for this).

The Clippers aren't a great shooting team, so the Lakers should be in the driver's seat in that respect, where they can dominate on the inside on offense v. the Clippers' perimeter-scoring runs. AD's the trump card here; everybody else in this series-matchup can be defended 1v1, somewhat, but there isn't anyone that can defend AD.

The Lakers will also have higher control the more the game slows down, on both ends
.

“Team that’s played together for 5 games is only getting by with talent” @Gil Scott-Heroin :mjlol:

1. I don’t even think that’s accurate. The sets they’re running, especially for George have been great since he came back.

2. In this short stint they’ve beaten the Raptors, Mavs, and Celtics

3. They are in fact the most talented team in the league :dead:. So if they are only going off talent now....

Structurally, the Clippers haven't been all that great on offense; it's simply been Kawhi self-creating and the two-man game with Lou and Trez, which is fine during the regular season where they have a dominion of talent to wash teams out to sea, but not so much against teams that have a proper structure in the halfcourt, in a playoff series, especially with someone like Bron running the show.

Like I said, PG can mitigate some of these issues, but I have my doubts over whether it can be a full circle, particularly when they lack the shooting to bind it all together.

PG is their only real playmaker, and in typical Doc Rivers fashion, if he doesn't have a lead-playmaker to do all the work (or a great offensive assistant), his teams usually end up drowning on that end.

The Nuggets won this series on the big bold.

Utilizing side advantage
Greater discipline
Greater structure and halfcourt system
Dominating on the inside with Jokic
Forcing Clippers to take outside shots
Big man trump card = Jokic
Game slows down = advantage offensive anchor who can control the game (Bron = Jokic).

Clippers were going to be food for any team that had those advantages.

This is like 95% about Doc Rivers

They win the series if he just cuts Harrell’s minutes alone.

I don't disagree that Doc played a pivotal part in their demise, but ultimately, they're a team full of one-dimensional offensive players, where contrast and balance are non-existent; too much overlay of the same skillsets with an absence of leadership and BBIQ. Lou Will is the closest thing they have to a leader, and yet he's been a chucker all his career, who's never really played a team-game. There's a reason why he's a 6th man.

The funny thing is, they probably would've beaten every other team, except for the Lakers. This series loss makes them look worse than they actually are. They just came up against an all-time big man, which was essentially their biggest weakness.

Styles make fights and all that.

Dame and CJ be talking too much from the sidelines for my liking tbh:patrice:
I mean, at the end of the day, they're doing the same shyt we're doing, but it does look funny given the context. Dame, especially, he be talking a whole lot, but this nxgga is always suffering embarrassing playoff exits. He more regular season than Harden is.

They shouldnt talk about anyone who moved on further than them imo. Especially how Dame tapped out. And I like Dame. Dude is just too twitter fingers for a player who actually is in those same situations not advancing
