Facts, that was one of the pints I made in that ratings ideas thread. Silver should prep for a hard reset in how the NBA is marketed. Bron gotta be the last of the “Next Jordan” superstars.
After that promote teams, rivalries, and all the many superstar/all star players. If a megastar Jordan/Kobe/Bron type comes along then perfect they can focus on him but other than that NBA in a funny place if they don’t prep for Bron’s retirement.

I think It might be a little too late to make it a team rivalry thing. The NBA is too star centric now especially with social media and fans being more in touch with their favorite players than ever.. one person is always going to mean more than the team itself..
