Its crazy how OKC lowkey got the better of that Paul-Westbrook trade.

Rockets are going to hate that contract in a year or so when they still hadnt won shyt and that contract makes him impossible to move for other
If OKC had another wing defender/shooter off the bench they would be a legit threat

they got the best of that paul george trade as well

i remember it was like dark days when they lost westbrook and george

I never thought they'd be an effective duo, both guys need the ball to much to be effective together. Westbrook would be much more effective if he learned to play off the ball, he's really an undersized shooting guard that plays the point.

Westbrook and PG13 are good example of how chemistry and playing styles do matter and how you just can't throw talent together and expect to compete.

They ended up getting sonned by a rookie Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz their first year if I'm not mistaken then Lillard and the Blazers the next year.

I think that second year PG13 was getting MVP love. I knew he was fool's gold from seeing him in Indiana though. Good all star level player but you ain't winning shyt with him as your guy the same with Westbrook.

If they had a Jimmy Butler type guy that could score a little and defend other teams premier wing along with a couple more shooters they'd be dangerous in my opinion.

They were fine together, the Thunders biggest problem in the last 2 years was Andre Roberson's knee exploding. They didn't have anybody that could step into the role he played & they've been capped out since maybe 2011 so they couldn't get solid guys without drafting or trading for them.

Wasn't fools gold, PG was playing the best ball of his life last year & managed to fukk up both of his shoulders right after the all star break. He played through it & then in the 2nd to last game of the season he got tripped & banged them up again.

Yea a few great spot up shooters would do wonders for them. They don’t need someone like Butler they already have 4 guys that can get their own shot.

Those guys aren't doing anything in the playoffs when the lights get bright and teams actually start giving a shyt about defense, I'm saying this and I actually like guys like Gallinari and Schroder's games, but they're complimentary players.

I don't think those guys are reliable in late game critical post season moments though.

Outside of the '04 Pistons all these teams that have been champions have had at least one bonefide star and All NBA guy.

Gallo is gonna have a favorable matchup every game it's just about him being more consistent. And Schroder is having a breakout year, he's only 26 so he's still getting better too.

The late game critical moments will be for Chris Paul lol. And I trust Schroder the way he's playing, but I've always liked Schroder a lot so I'm kinda biased.

Go look at the 2014 Spurs lol, Parker avg the most points on the team at 16 and Kawhi only 12 ppg that year before he really blew up. It can be done especially now that the super team era is starting to end. Not saying the Thunder have a chance this year though they are missing a few pieces
