nah no it's not
racial narratives and dynamics play out in sports all the time
We all know the code words and we certain athletes and teams get covered the way they do :mjpls:

Floyd Mayweather has made 100s of millions of dollars solely off of cacs paying repeatedly to see if maybe he'll lose because they hate him :russ:

cac fandom is definitely along racial lines and I'm perfectly within my rights to not fukk with the new white savior cac because I already know what all this hype is about. :manny:

Y'all can :cape: for him all you want but if he was Black would folks in the media really be saying he may be having the best rookie season ever :jbhmm:

EVER nikka :mjlol:

fukk that cac, I know what time it is. :heh:

Especially with the racist ass owner of that team and all the :mjpls: shyt he has a history of saying.

Luka is a great talent but I feel the media doesn't mention enough that he has played pro basketball before he was drafted. That gives him an advantage over a lot of rookies.

The media also doesn't give his team enough credit. Luka got drafted into the best team situation. The Mavs have good veterans and more talent than a lot of lottery teams. He also has a good coach to help maximize his strengths.

:why:
That's the ABSOLUTE reason why the media was on Luka's nuts since the draft.
That's what sports people harped on, that he was the MVP in the second best basketball league in the world at 19.

A lot of cats here on the coli, including myself, dismissed that pro league because of the unathletic looking players and Luka looking a little slow.

I'm a Mavs fan and was cool with the pick but a little skeptical because of the hype.
Not anymore. :banderas:

I agree with the second part.

But the first part nah. Yeah, he got pro experience because he was that damn good. He was the MVP of the Euroleague at 19 and won the championship. He’s a prodigy that’s not normal, most European prospects don’t even get big minutes like that on their clubs. There’s already been American prospects that been overseas and are overwhelmed and it hurts their development.
