I have no idea why people repping contract year Vucevic :why:
I don’t buy into that contract year cliche

He’s been putting up numbers for some time now anyway and is in his prime and maybe peak year at 28. Love has an albatross contract and is injury prone and 30 years old.

Vucevic is a complete big offensively he can shoot, pass, post, rebound, screen. Can’t complain about his defense if you’re going after Love.

only reason i'm even thinking about love is because this roster is ass

we've beaten orlando like a dozen times straight.... our whole division understands vividly how ain't shyt he is. steve clifford is doing the same thing for him that he did with al jefferson where he just uses the guy as a crutch to shore up all the offensive issues elsewhere why still having glaring weaknesses that any wellcoached team will exploit immediately

at least kevin love has a resume. vuc ain't even better than JV up in toronto.

I really hope y’all trade him and he becomes the star he was going to be there, if we don’t get a top 2 pick I hope the Cavs can get him.
We are not trading him. He's young and can still learn to shoot.

That article is terrible, the facts he's quoting dont back Simmons doesn't need to learn to shoot. He also admits if Simmons learns how to shoot he would be a better player :deadrose:

I don't think it's a cliche at this point.

We've seen way too many cases at this point of players coming out of nowhere to have career years or comeback years in contract seasons and then not sustaining it.

Now whether that's the case with Vucevic I guess time will tell :manny:

I would trade JV straight up for Vucci...defense is equally bad but his offensive game is much more consistent...

Love can do all those things and better and Vuc will end up getting a worse contract next year
