actually, with CP3 out, the Rockets could be using Melo right now. when he got gone, I dont feel it was about his play or his attitude. it comes down to Bzdelic's return and I guarantee you he told them, if you want me to come back, Melo has to go.

i don't know, they have extremely short leashes, especially allen whose defense also needs to improve to get regular minutes but at least he spaces the floor offensively when he does get regular minutes (and if rubio and exum would actually pass him the ball when he's in). yet rubio, exum, and o'neale can be out there fukking up the offense w/o any repercussion. In a game like last night when scoring was an issue, o'neale cannot be your SG. He should've been starting burks and rotating allen in w/ exum and o'neale strictly used at the SF position or 3rd string SG when he needed more defense. Neto has to be the backup PG at this point instead of exum. Neto and allen played really well together the night before when they won at sacramento, but they hardly saw floor time together last night. He brings burks and allen in by the time it's too late and the starters have already created a massive hole. Exum at least will sometimes take a 3 pointer when the ball is rotated even though he can't shoot, but o'neale keeps passing up shots and it fukking up the offense.
I had really hoped utah wouldn't draft allen given how deep they are at the guard spots although their offense suits him and he destroyed their workout. Was hoping for his benefit that he'd land in philly or GSW, two teams where he'd actually get regular minutes and be used properly to spread the floor and attack closeouts. 90% of the time in utah, they just send him to the corner while rubio and exum dribble around aimlessly. Shamet is getting great minutes in philly and in GSW jacob evans has sucked w/ derrickson getting alot of minutes. Allen would've killed on those teams.

In case anyone missed the end of the Hornets/Bucks game -
I was at the game last night. Watching the crowd reactions during that whole yes sequence was comedy. Back and forth between screaming of joy to cursing and back. I was sixth row. It's crazy seeing up close how strong Giannis is. Backing dudes down and they're just bouncing off of him.
