This was avoidable. They should've traded Jaylen the moment they figured they were gonna pay Smart. Too many players, not enough minutes.

Jaylen is playing one less minute a game than he played last season, and that largely has to do with players like Morris getting minutes over him at the end of the games because they're playing better. Smart is playing 6 less minutes than he did last season and by far the lowest MPG since he's been on the Celtics.

Y'all gotta stop with these bullshyt ass narratives. JB struggling has nothing to do with lack of playing time or usage

That's why some GM's would rather trade picks while they're still picks. The minute the player shows top end talent, you become attached.

Put it this way: Ainge would have given up 2 firsts for Anthony Davis no problem. Now that those picks are Brown and Tatum, you can't bring yourself to part with them.

I mean it was no surprise he fell apart in the Rockets' last three games of the postseason.

He fell apart because the Rockets system was unsustainable. Relying on a player to isolate and create on damn near every possession he’s on the floor is just not feasible.

And didn’t win the finals that year. I think everybody knows KD purpose at a point was to balance out Lebrons impact cause Steph as the main leader couldnt do it. The regular season, specially for the warriors, is irrelevant after not completing the 73 win season with a ring. KD purpose is the post season. There’s a reason why we talk this Steph vs KD shyt during the regular season. But come Finals time, it’s clear who’s the best player on the floor

Theres no real debate about who’s the best player on the floor when it matters the most, which is why one has 2x FMVP and the other one doesn’t.

And y’all know I fukk with Steph, nobody has ever denied his importance, I mean nobody in the history of basketball has shot better than him.

However, come June, this Steph vs Durant argument will once again cease and quiet when Durant feast for his 3rd FMVP, becoming the first player to do so since prime Shaq.
