simmons is guaranteed one or two turnovers down the stretch.... he has almost no place on the court when games get tight
exum sucks but he seems to be less of a net negative than rubio lately. there's been no spacing, very poor FT shooting, and donovan's having to go 1 on everyone and chuck with no outlets to shooters except for ingles. niang needs some minutes to open up the floor (crowder has been bricking everything but is getting all of the backup PF minutes) as does allen as a shooter and secondary playmaker to take some load off donovan. neither one of them have gotten into a rhythm with spotty minutes and DNPs after playing excellent in preseason with consistent minutes. they need time to play through mistakes as their shooting will be valuable down the stretch to allow the starters to rest once the schedule lightens up in the latter part of the season. burks is too inconsistent for a 7th or 8th year player but he can provide some offensive punch as well.
preseason really don't mean that much man

niang is trash still and exum is basically a charity case at this point in his career. grayson... i like him but dude is the definition of inconsistent.

preseason shows some capabilities and how guys could be used, it's not useless imo particularly when it comes to shooting/making open shots which niang and allen both did plenty of. it's hard for either one of them to be consistent w/ inconsistent roles/minutes. i'd like to see allen get some g-league minutes just so he can get some game feel/action, rather than 2-3 DNPs in a row then random spot minutes or minutes when someone is injured.

Ben finally grew some balls & did something after Mitchell was showing him up in the clutch in his own house. Still doesn't change what @42 Monks said though. :manny:

Jimmy is such a fantastic basketball player. He's already fit in seamlessly in this team & didn't need to dominate the ball to get buckets.
