Portland had a great chance to make it to the wcf. Play OKC in the 1st round then get Denver/SA in the 2nd... it would have been tough no doubt but it was a clear path to the conference finals. Hope Utah knocks them out in the 1st round

That’s what I’m saying. Idk why a team would take the guaranteed L in the second round to get a slightly more favorable 1st round. Things could easily break right for them in the 3 seed and find them in the WCF.

Without Nurkic SA would be an AWFUL matchup for them...They would probably single handily lose to him and the blazers psyche is far to fragile to lose in the playoffs to a former franchise player...
SA would be the second worst matchup for them outside of GS...
