Did you really just link an article that says Harden is their MVP choice and another that was from the middle of the season as proof that people were hating on Harden? If you read the first article it mentions Harden being out since January so it was an article from before the all-star break. The second is typical of any MVP column, it provides an argument of reasons people may give for voting for other candidates but then comes to it's ultimate winner who in this case was Harden. By the end of the year it was a forgone conclusion it was Harden's award so dead all that bias talk cause it's simply not true.
As far as this year Harden has better offensive stats. He's also playing at least 5 more minutes a game than Giannis. I think there is value in Giannis having his team play in such a dominating fashion that he gets to sit a lot in blowouts. Giannis impact on the defensive end more than makes up for the difference in offensive stats. Again not mad if Harden wins cause he's been dominant but it's not this huge travesty or media bias if Giannis gets it. He's just as deserving.
I put out articles in just a few minutes because I was eating with my family, which you conveniently glazed over. First article, you say , "it mentions Harden being out since January so it was an article from before the all-star break", but in fact the first was the SI article which states Harden is their pick buuuuuut if you notice the date of April 11, 2018, that date is basically at the end of the season. Also, their first sentence after they claim him their #1 starts as "James Harden’s MVP case isn’t perfect: The Rockets guard has missed nine games, the second-most for an MVP winner during the three-point era (only Allen Iverson in 2001 missed more)". Then later on they toot about Lebron having a strong case. So, did you mean another article, cuz I linked 3, again, in about 2 minutes.
The other article you missed? was written in April as well. People didn't really start saying it should go to Harden until about April. Still debated about it on sports shows
Even when James won it, a few players said things about it:
Kyrie Irving says James Harden was 'people's MVP', but LeBron James was 'NBA's MVP' | NBA.com
Your actual argument, you start off with something so apparent that even Stevie Wonder could see. But, my question is this: I was replying to someone else because they said Harden would be the sure MVP if he had a big night last night.... to which I said no, he wouldn't, so what are you arguing? As I stated before, the MVP Award goes to either #1 or #2 seed OR narrative (which is why Russ Westbrook won it 2 back). You just trying to jump in an fish for daps without really reading or just providing your opinion to me, you know the one I didn't ask about, cuz I don't care....?
